A pregnant woman can prevent allergies by avoiding foods like raw pepper, celery and vegetable oil. Such women should avoid citrus fruits and margarine. Pregnant women should eat foods that contain high amount of antioxidants and minerals like selenium and zinc. They should take probiotic supplements. People who have food allergy should maintain a food diary, in which they should record which foods cause allergy symptoms. Effort should be made to avoid such foods in future.
